The Ang Mo Kio Secondary School Drama Club provides students with a platform to express their creativity, imagination, and teamwork through performance and stagecraft. Members learn to take on both acting and backstage roles, gaining valuable skills in communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.
In 2025, the club had an eventful and meaningful year. Members showcased their talents at the Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation, earning a Certificate of Accomplishment for their hard work, discipline, and creativity. They also performed during the school’s National Day celebration, presenting a heartfelt piece inspired by the legend of Redhill, which highlighted themes of courage and sacrifice.
Beyond the school, members performed at the Ang Mo Kio Public Library, where they brought to life well-loved Singaporean myths such as Kusu Island, Sang Nila Utama, Redhill, and Radin Mas. Through these performances, students deepened their appreciation of local culture while sharing meaningful stories with the community.
