Ministry of Education ExCEL (Excellence through Continuous Enterprise and Learning) Fest will be open to parents and members of the public on 5 Jul 08 at Suntec International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The theme for the event is “Nurturing Every Child for the Future”. The event will include seminar talks, classroom experiences and exhibitions showcasing ongoing innovative efforts in schools' journey to improve the quality of teaching and learning for the benefit of our young.

Come discover what the school is doing to help your child improve on his/ her oracy skills and thus perform better at Oral Exams and when making oral presentations.

Benefits of using podcasting for language learning has transcended beyond enhancing oracy skills. Every child learns at different learning pace. The availability of podcast freeware and school learning portal allow learners to record, review and revise their audio recordings of their text readings and discussions that reflect their oracy skills at its best. Accessibility from school and home provides every learner with opportunity for on-going development and monitoring of their oracy skills at their own pace, thereby promoting self-directed learning. |
